Match Day - August 5
The Community Foundation for Mason County is holding a Match Day! They’ve built a pool of match dollars ($90,000 and growing) that will be used to match gifts that people give to qualifying organizations like us on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
Match dollars will be awarded to each organization proportionally, based on the amount we raise compared to the total raised that day. Every gift will be matched at some level – help us maximize our match!
Give online on Wednesday, August 5, at www.mason-foundation.org/MatchDay2020 (link won’t go live until donation day). Choose Mason-Lake Conservation District from the list and donate with your credit card. Gifts of up to $1,000 per donor, per organization, are eligible for the match!
Your donation could help us with any of these projects currently waiting in the wings:
- Natural shoreline plantings on inland lakes
- Virtual Farm Tour
- Streambank stabilization and erosion control
- Autumn olive shrub control experiment
- Water quality protection through safe septics and low-maintenance lawns
Don't miss this opportunity to get more bang for your buck and leave a lasting impact on your community.
Donate on Match Day!
Though much of our work is on private lands, all of our waters, forests and food are connected! Putting all the small pieces together helps the big picture of our natural resources stay healthy.
For more details, visit www.mason-foundation.org/MatchDayInfo. Please help us spread the word, and mark your calendars to give on August 5th!
Note: Giving online on August 5th is strongly encouraged. For those who can’t or prefer not to, you can send a check payable to Mason-Lake Conservation District to 655 N. Scottville Rd., Scottville, MI 49454. Checks must be dated August 5, 2020 and in our hands before 7pm on Match Day, so that they can be counted toward the match. If you’re able to give online, that’s the best way!
