Invasive Plant Management - You can help!

From now until September, AFFEW and the North Country CISMA will continue with invasive plant

removal and management at Cartier Park. They will be meeting at the park every month on the:

2nd Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. 
and
4th Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Before each event, a short tutorial will be held to help identify the plants. Please bring water, gloves and wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, and closed-toed shoes. The events will be held in fair weather and may wrap up early depending on site conditions. 

AFFEW partners with the City of Ludington, Mason-Lake Conservation District and North Country CISMA to control these aggressive plants. AFFEWs website has some more information on the events and species they work with.
