Allissa is the new Produce Safety Technician out of the Newaygo Conservation District serving Lake, Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana counties. She has a B.S. in Wildlife Management with a minor in sustainable natural resource and recreation management from Michigan State University. She has always had an interest in the outdoors and agriculture, and is looking to help the growers in her area in any way they need when it comes to on-farm produce safety. Originally from Saginaw, she has recently moved to the west side of the state and is enjoying her time here. Outside of work she enjoys traveling to visit with friends and family, as well as working on her nature photography.
