Conservation is all about balancing our use of natural resources while protecting them for the future. Mason-Lake Conservation District strives to be our community's resource for empowering conservation, but conservation work in our community isn't possible without you!
The unity of all of us, private landowners, farms, partnering groups, local governments and businesses all working together towards environmental stewardship is what makes the biggest impact.
Whether you connect with us through our monthly workshops, field days and seminars, volunteer at household hazardous waste day, buy your tree seedlings through us or have our staff out to help with projects on your property, you might have realized that we cover a lot of ground. We aim to keep our beautiful waters clean and healthy, addressing some areas that need improvement. We work with our farms to build high quality soil and help them to be top environmental stewards so that they can continue producing food for generations to come. We help our landowners manage private forests sustainably, keeping invasive species at bay and improving wildlife and pollinator habitat throughout our District. This work is only possible thanks to grants and generous donations from those in our community who care about conserving our resources. Please consider donating to keep our work going strong!
