Household Hazardous Waste

Safely disposing of household hazardous waste—like pesticides, batteries, electronics, and more—not only protects our environment but also reduces risks to community health. This program ensures hazardous materials are properly managed and kept out of landfills, waterways, and natural habitats.

The event is made possible through partnerships, dedicated volunteers, and contributions from the community members who attend. Every donation and volunteer effort strengthens our ability to run a successful collection day each year, helping keep our local resources clean and safe.

Interested in helping out? Volunteers play an essential role, assisting with unloading items, guiding traffic, collecting donations, and organizing materials to keep the day running smoothly. If you’d like to join our efforts, we’d love to have you on the team—click here to get involved and make a difference.
